Architectural Wood

Wood coatings can be either water-based or solvent-based systems. Typically, fast drying, high gloss finishes are required. Dow Oxygenated Solvents improve the bonding of lacquers to wood substrates, allowing the resins to penetrate the cell. Oxygenated solvents can also solve problems with wood finishes such as moisture blush or resin blush.
