Architectural Solvent-Based Coatings

Dow Oxygenated Solvents are used in many high quality formulations because of their low surface tension and their medium to slow evaporation rates. They accommodate various temperatures and humidity ranges. Solvent requirements for coating systems vary. Since most architectural coatings are heavily pigmented, the solvent must dissolve the resin and assist with pigment dispersion.
